Tottenham transfer collapses after Roberto De Zerbi admission

Richarlison is expected to stay at Tottenham at least until January after his proposed transfer to Vasco Da Gama fell through.

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs this summer and has asked Roberto De Zerbi for permission to seek a new opportunity.

He was subsequently left out of Tottenham’s 25-man Premier League squad as all parties worked to find him a new home.

Arsenal target Kroupi

Eli Junior Kroupi is said to be on Arsenal's radar still.

The Bournemouth star scored 13 goals in his debut Premier League season and was linked with a move to the Gunners in the summer, but suffered a foot injury in July.

He is expected to be out of action until November, though reports claim Arsenal could be eyeing up a January transfer.

Richarlison deal falls through

Richarlison’s move to Vasco Da Gama has fallen through.

Per reports, Tottenham agreed a fee with the Brazilian outfit, but the deal collapsed as Richarlison himself failed to settle on personal terms.

He is now expected to remain at Tottenham at least until January.

Granit Xhaka breaks silence on Chelsea transfer interest: 'A big privilege'

Granit Xhaka has revealed he turned down a summer move to Chelsea as he felt he had unfinished business at Sunderland, despite acknowledging the Blues’ bid was a ‘big privilege’.

But Xhaka has now broken his silence on Chelsea’s pursuit, saying he considered their interest a compliment but that there was still a job to be done at the Stadium of Light.

“When I signed the contract here, there was a plan behind the scenes, and the plan was to stick to this project, to believe in this project, and to work for this project,” he said, speaking on the Sports Agents Podcast.

Arsenal have reportedly hired a consulting firm to review their finances and how they can maintain success after winning the Premier League title.

Per The Sun, the firm BCG are helping the Gunners find ways to cut costs and optimise investment.

The club has made a loss in each of the past seven years despite also posting record revenue.

Dewsbury-Hall hits back at Everton fans: 'Your meltdowns annoy me'

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall says he has been left frustrated by criticisms of Everton’s transfer window.

A challenging Deadline Day saw the Toffees end the summer with just 18 senior players, but Dewsbury-Hall insists things are not as bad as some fans seem to think.

He said: “I’ve seen all of the reactions, all of the meltdowns, and in all honestly it annoyed me a bit.

“I get where people are coming from; everyone wants to sign everyone and have the perfect squad. But there are still 18 lads in this building who are going to hopefully take this club to good things this year. That was getting disregarded.

“I saw people saying: ‘We’ll be lucky to stay up this year.’ What message is that sending to the lads who are already here?

“I’m not blaming anyone. We get it. It didn’t work. But let’s all be positive – right, it’s done, bang, let’s go – and that’s what we’ve been trying to say in the dressing room.

“Of course we would have wanted to sign a couple more, but we’re happy with what we’ve got and it’s given us more impetus now to move on.”

Antonio returns to the EFL

Michail Antonio has signed with Watford on a one-year deal, returning to English football for the first time since leaving West Ham in 2025.

The Irons released the Jamaica international in August 2025, nine months after he cheated death in a horror car accident in Epping Forest which left him hospitalised for three weeks.

He has since recovered from the four femur fractures he sustained in the smash, representing West Ham’s Under-21s and training with Brentford as he did so before spending a brief spell in Qatar with Al-Sailiya, playing just four times.

And the striker, now 36, has returned to the EFL, signing a short-term deal to become a Watford player.

A club statement confirming the deal suggests he has been brought in largely for his experience, which amounts to 410 appearances and 96 goals in the Premier League and Championship alone, not to mention multiple campaigns in European football.

Arsenal confirm signing of 'next Khvicha Kvaratskhelia'

Arsenal have officially now announced an agreement to sign Andria Bartishvili.

The talented Georgian forward, 17, will arrive in north London in July 2027 after reaching a pre-contract agreement.

Bartishvili currently plays for Kolkheti 1913 in Georgia’s second tier, but is on loan in the top-flight with Iberia 1999.

There is a lot of excitement over the potential of the teenager, who has already been compared to compatriot and Paris Saint-Germain star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
