Translate

An Ipswich father has been charged with killing his three-month-old son after the boy died in hospital yesterday.

Police launched an investigation when the baby was brought to Ipswich Hospital on Thursday last week.

He was transferred to a Brisbane hospital, where he died from his injuries on Tuesday afternoon.

The ABC understands the 28-year-old man knew the child.

Overnight the Ipswich Child Protection Investigation Unit arrested the man and charged him with murder – domestic violence against a child.
