The rugby rivals will play at the 70,000-seater M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. It will mark the first time South Africa and New Zealand have played each other in the US.

‘SURVIVAL GUIDE’ TO WATCH THE SPRINGBOKS LATE-NIGHT MATCH

With many of its test matches played on home ground, rugby fans have become accustomed to watching the Springboks play their typical late-afternoon matches.

This time around, Boks fans will have to stay up a little later as their favourite team will play the All Blacks in the US on Saturday, 12 September. Due to a time difference, the match will be broadcast at 11 pm SA time.

For many, this means pushing back the timing of braais and the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

On social media, South Africans have shared their advice on how they plan to stay awake.

For some, this means taking an afternoon nap and fuelling up on caffeine.
