Coronation Street's Sam to be caught out as he makes another shocking move

Coronation Street's Sam Blakeman steals Idris Nazir's credit card from Speed Daal next week, right after Leanne Battersby entrusts him with a job at the restaurant.

After already putting Nick Tilsley in the red, will Sam's crypto trading addiction land him in even more debt – or will he get caught out?

"Sam's addiction has spiralled completely out of hand," warns our Corrie spy. "Nick can't afford to pay off his debts and now Sam needs another source of funds to trade. But stealing from Idris comes with huge consequences. And what would Leanne say?"

After Sam's confession that he's run up thousands of pounds worth of debt by trading in crypto, Leanne hopes by giving him responsibility and purpose, he'll learn to get a handle on his bad habits and put his phone away.

When he calls in at Speed Daal, Leanne makes a point of offering him a job to prove how much she trusts him. But is her faith in Sam misplaced?

With Leanne busy, Sam spots Idris's credit card unattended and he can't resist. Clutching the card to his chest, Sam escapes the restaurant with the key to Idris's fortunes. But his theft doesn't stay secret for long…

Later that week, Sam settles at a table in the restaurant. He's just about to enter Idris's card details into the crypto app, when suddenly the shady businessman himself appears beside him!

"Sam's caught red-handed," reveals our source. "Idris is not a man you want to mess with – especially when it comes to money. He'll want payback, even if Sam can't afford it, the debt needs to be settled up somehow, and that should terrify Sam…"

Sam tries to justify why he stole the card, hoping that if he can trade well enough, he'll earn the money back and pay off his dad's debt. But it's a risky move considering that's how he got Nick into debt in the first place! If he loses, then Idris could be left seriously out of pocket.

Will Idris believe a word of Sam's explanation? And could the ruthless businessman use this to his advantage to fleece hard-up Nick?
