Celebs who reunited after bitter feuds

Celebrity friendships are often admired by fans, but when things go wrong, the fallouts can be just as public. Recently, however, some celebrities who once went their separate ways have been finding their way back to one another.

From Tonto Dikeh and Bobrisky to Iyabo Ojo and Toyin Lawani, former friends have shown that some relationships can survive even after very public disagreements.

Dikeh recently surprised many when she celebrated Bobrisky’s birthday with an emotional tribute and a N2m gift. In an Instagram post, the actress described Bobrisky as her “brother” and “anchor”, recalling the loyalty and support he had shown her over the years. She also shared a screenshot of the N2m transfer, adding a light-hearted touch to the birthday celebration.

In response, Bobrisky appreciated Dikeh for the gift and acknowledged their renewed friendship.

The gesture came years after their relationship suffered a public fallout. The duo, who were once known for their close friendship, began to have issues in 2020 after Dikeh unfollowed Bobrisky following a video of him with Lady Golfer, a former friend of the actress.

Bobrisky later said the incident contributed to Dikeh ending their friendship. Their disagreement subsequently became more public, with both parties making claims about their relationship. At one point, Bobrisky also shared private conversations involving the actress. However, their recent exchanges suggest that the former friends have moved past the issues that once kept them apart.

Similarly, actress, Iyabo Ojo, and fashion designer, Toyin Lawani, have rekindled their friendship after years apart.

Ojo shared pictures of herself and Lawani on Instagram on September 23, accompanied by a message reflecting on their friendship.

She wrote that life had taught them that real friendships were not perfect but real, adding that although they had spent time apart, “real friendship always finds its way back.”

Lawani also responded warmly to the post, giving fans a glimpse of their renewed relationship.

Ojo and Lawani were once close, but their friendship became strained during their time on the reality show, The Real Housewives of Lagos. Tensions reportedly developed around Ojo’s relationship with Laura Ikeji, with Lawani’s support for Ikeji becoming one of the issues between the two women.

Ojo had also accused Lawani of gossiping about her, a disagreement that contributed to the breakdown of their friendship. The two eventually unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Their recent reunion, therefore, came as a surprise to fans who had followed their friendship and subsequent fallout.
