Knicks fan recreates OG Anunoby's signature Game 4 tip-in with skeletons in iconic Halloween setup

It may be a new NBA season incoming, but New York Knicks fans are still over the moon after the team broke its 53-year championship drought in epic fashion against the San Antonio Spurs this summer.

One fan in New Jersey went as far as to make one iconic moment of the Knicks’ title run the theme of his Halloween decorations for this year.

A house in Tenafly, New Jersey, is the talk of the town as the owners set up many skeletons in a recreation of OG Anunoby's famous Game 4 tip-in that gave the Knicks a crucial victory that pushed their series lead over the Spurs to 3-1.

In Game 5 on the road in San Antonio, they got the job done.

NBC New York captured the scene on the front lawn, which featured a 12-foot skeleton that was dressed with a Spurs Victor Wembanyama jersey, representing the 7-foot-3 star from France who was at the top of the key defending Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, who had taken the shot.

It was just short, but Anunoby came flying in, and his fingertips beat the Spurs defenders around him for a miraculous basket that is etched in NBA history forever.

"Once Game 4 happened and OG had that tip-in, it was such a big moment already. But, as soon as the Knicks won the championship, I said, ‘This is going to be our decorations this year,’" the owner of the home told the outlet. "We had an extra 12-foot skeleton sitting around. It was perfect for Wemby and the moment was just so iconic. It was just a big New York sports moment."

Other than the large Wembanyama skeleton, there are skeletons huddled around a basketball hoop with a basketball being tipped in by one with an Anunoby jersey on its back. Another skeleton has a Brunson jersey on, and it looks like he’s completing his jumpshot.

And the cherry on top of the set-up is the "courtside viewers," as the owner decided to dress up skeletons like the celebrities who were courtside for the game, including Timothee Chalamet, Spike Lee and Taylor Swift.

The decorations are awesome during the day, but they’re even better at night as purple and orange lights bring together the spooky Knicks theme perfectly.

Finally, a sign sits on the porch of the house reading, "The tip-in that did the Spurs in," while a scoreboard has the 106-105 score, where San Antonio was leading at the time just before the ball went into the hoop off Anunoby.

What a way to reign in the spooky season, and more importantly, to kick off a new Knicks campaign. The Knicks will have their championship ring ceremony on Tuesday, as they host LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden.
