S. Carolina star Stewart suspended after punching Bama player

South Carolina star edge rusher Dylan Stewart has been suspended indefinitely after he threw a punch at an Alabama player and argued with coaches during Saturday night's loss to the Crimson Tide.
Gamecocks coach Shane Beamer announced the suspension during a news conference on Sunday.
Stewart was penalized for the punch to Alabama tight end Josh Ford's helmet.
After the game, Beamer called the incident "unacceptable."
"That's not how we do things around here," he said. "I'm embarrassed to see that because that's not what we're about."
Stewart, a junior, is a former Freshman All-American and All-SEC pick.
A recent mock draft from ESPN NFL draft expert Jordan Reid predicted Stewart to get selected in the top 10.
Stewart missed most of the offseason and multiple games recovering from a back injury.
