3 armed men surrender after shootout with cops in Batangas
LUCENA CITY — Three armed men, who were drinking and allegedly causing trouble, shot at responding policemen before surrendering in Rosario town, Batangas, on Tuesday night.
In a report Wednesday, the Police Regional Office 4A said four police officers had proceeded to Barangay Natu at around 8 p.m. after receiving a complaint regarding gunfire from intoxicated men who were causing a disturbance during a domestic dispute.

The three men, all armed with caliber .45 pistols, reportedly fired at the approaching policemen but missed their target. The officers returned fire, prompting a brief standoff against the suspects, aged 19, 32, and 34, before they surrendered to the policemen. No injuries were reported.
