Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan unleashes "wrath" in parking dispute

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan thinks she has landed herself in hot water after a heated exchange with a traffic warden.

The soap star is not afraid to speak up and she certainly made her feelings known this past Sunday on the streets of Manchester.

Flanagan took to social media platform TikTok to make her 260,000 followers aware of her dispute over paying to park her car.

Insisting she had made a mistake, Webster fumed: “I’ve got a courtesy car and I just parked in Manchester. I paid for my car park but because it's a courtesy car, instead of putting an 'O', I put a zero.

“I could see one of the traffic wardens trying to put a ticket on my car and I said, ‘No, I’ve paid for my ticket.'

She continued: "Anyway, I am due my period so like hell hath no fury... if you get my wrath! Wow."

The Rosie Webster actress was not alone, as she was also with her daughter, who thought she may be taken away by the police.

“I don’t want to go back,” Flanagan's child was heard saying, before the mother-of-three continued her rant.

“She thinks I’m going to get arrested, mummy might actually," Flanagan joked. "Honestly, I was like, 'You are the most horrible man I’ve ever met. Karma for you!'

“He knew that I'd made a mistake with one letter wrong because I had a courtesy car and he still gave me a ticket [...] honestly, he got my absolute wrath! And he deserved it! He deserved my wrath."

This incident comes almost two years after Flanagan was banned from driving. She was barred from getting behind the wheel for six months in January 2025 (via BBC News), before returning to the roads last July.

At the time, Flanagan said that her ex-boyfriend Robbie Talbot was the one driving her vehicle and was caught speeding twice in 2024. She appeared in court after being charged with two counts of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver.

After starring on Celebs Go Dating in 2024 and Celebrity Ex on the Beach earlier this year, Flanagan has now been announced to star in the hit theatre production Rita, Sue & Bob Too.

The comedy drama is centred around two teenage girls, Rita and Sue, embarking in an affair with Bob, who's married to Flanagan's character Michelle. Flanagan is part of the 11-show UK tour set to commence in 2027.

Announcing her latest project, Flanagan told her Instagram followers in October: "Excited to be going on tour playing Michelle in Rita Sue and Bob Too!"
