Trump bans 'fake news' CNN, MS NOW, Politico from White House 'effective immediately'

Translate

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he is banning CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House, "effective immediately."

Trump made the comments in a Truth Social post, describing the networks as "fake news," singling out MS NOW for having changed their name from the original MSNBC "due to lack of viewership and credibility."

"Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America," wrote Trump.

President Trump further referred to Politico as having received "an illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription, an All Time Record, directly from the United States Government, under Crooked Joe Biden, in order to keep them 'alive,'" noting that the accusation sounded to him like "corruption."

He added that there would be "other Fake News Media Outlets to follow."
