Playoffs live analysis and highlights: Fever host Aces

The 2026 WNBA playoffs continue Tuesday, and it's a must-win for the Indiana Fever, who are down 1-0 and hosting the No. 3 seed Las Vegas Aces at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

During the regular season, Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark became the highest-scoring duo in WNBA history, combining for 47 points per game to lead the league's No. 1 offense. But A'ja Wilson (38 points, 16 rebounds, four blocks) and the reigning champion Aces smothered the Fever in a 102-85 Game 1 victory. Mitchell and Clark were a combined 10-for-33 from the field.

A win would send Las Vegas to the semifinals for the seventh consecutive season and eliminate No. 6 seed Indiana, who look to return to the semifinals for a second straight year.

In Tuesday's other Game 2, the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx also are staring down elimination -- but on the road. The No. 8 seed New York Liberty stole Game 1 in Minneapolis on Sunday. Breanna Stewart had 34 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in a 91-75 victory.

On Monday, Lynx guard Olivia Miles was named the unanimous WNBA Rookie of the Year. Can Miles and Minnesota even the series and force a Game 3?
