Coronation Street's Kevin and Ronnie to fear gun link after shock Jodie incident

Coronation Street's Kevin Webster and Ronnie Bailey jump to a worrying conclusion next week, as they wonder if Fiona Morley's missing gun was involved in a shock shooting at No 8.

Show bosses have announced that Jodie Ramsey's scheming is finally about to come to a head, as a shot is fired at the Platt house and somebody fights for their life.

As the police investigate, could Kevin and Ronnie both find themselves in hot water if the firearm is found down the road – and traced back to them?

"That gun has caused Ronnie a whole heap of trouble," points out our Corrie spy.

"It went missing after Carl and Kevin's showdown in the garage and in the end, unbeknown to Ronnie, Jodie got her hands on it! But it belonged to Fiona, and she's the last person Ronnie needs sniffing around…"

Fiona made her feelings very clear the last time she was in Weatherfield, trying to seduce Ronnie and make him stray from Debbie Webster. So if this gun business brings her back onto the cobbles, Debbie might have to watch her man!

As Kevin and Ronnie gossip over a pint in the Rovers, they're both concerned that if police forensics get hold of the gun that was found at No.8, then they might link it back to them and Fiona's dodgy operation. And if there's a fatality, then things could turn very serious…

Will Ronnie be forced into more nefarious work to keep Fiona at bay? Or will the missing gun turn up somewhere else and keep Kevin, Ronnie and the Websters out of trouble?

Corrie bosses have confirmed that the walls finally close in on Jodie next week as Shona realises that someone has been manipulating her.

Shona initially accuses her stepdaughter Lily of being responsible for using a recording of baby Harper to make her question her own sanity. However, she then spots tell-tale clues that Jodie is the one who's causing trouble…

"Things get completely out of hand when the gun Jodie has been hiding comes into play," explains our source. "This is a life-changing situation, and somebody's world comes crashing down in an instant.

"Worse still, the rest of the Platts get dragged into this, with David being the one to desperately call for an ambulance. Things are looking very bleak for everyone concerned."
