Chelsea Handler, Chlöe Bailey, Billie Jean King Set for ESPNW Women and Sports Summit (Exclusive)

Chelsea Handler, Chlöe Bailey and Billie Jean King are among the stars set to participate in the ESPNW Women and Sports Summit, set for Oct. 14-16 in Ojai, California.

The event will also feature soccer star Abby Wambach and Olympic gold medalist Hilary Knight and a screening of the 30 for 30 documentary Give Me The Ball! about King directed by Liz Garbus and Elizabeth Wolff.

Handler will sit for a keynote conversation and the summit will also feature keynotes with National Women’s Soccer League Commissioner Jessica Berman and orthopedic surgeon, sports medicine physician and researcher Dr. Vonda Wright.

And Bailey will be part of an evening keynote and musical performance.

King will participate in a live taping of the Welcome to the Party podcast, joining soccer-star hosts Abby Wambach and Julie Foudy. An advance screening of Give Me the Ball will follow the conversation, set for opening night.

Knight will be joined on a “World-Class Athlete” panel with UNC and US women’s lacrosse player Chloe Humphrey and the captain of Mexico’s Women’s National Flag Football team Diana Flores.

Additional programming includes a “Women at the Helm” panel with Blizzard president, Johanna Faries; Mattel chief consumer products and experiences officer Natalia Premovic and Draft Kings chief marketing officer Stephanie Sherman.

And the Elite Comeback: Motherhood & Performance panel features WNBA Chicago Sky player Skylar Diggins, Olympic gold medalist Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and WWE star Becky Lynch.

The summit will be hosted by ESPN college sports reporter Jess Sims, with panels moderated by ESPN figures like Hannah Storm, Monica McNutt, Christine Williamson and Andraya Carter as well as journalist Sarah Spain and basketball analyst and WNBA all-star Chiney Ogwumike.
