Dixson was the first among the three to portray Dyesebel, starring as the titular character in the 1990 film “Dyesebel” opposite Richard Gomez.
Rivera later took on the role in GMA Network’s 2008 television adaptation, “Dyesebel.” Curtis became the third of the trio to play the mermaid when she headlined ABS-CBN’s “Dyesebel” in 2014.
