Stock futures rise after Nasdaq hits record high

Stock index futures were higher on Tuesday, a day after the Nasdaq Composite touched a record high while investors looked ahead to trade data and comments from Federal Reserve officials.
Dow futures (INDU) +0.43%, S&P 500 futures (SPX) +0.21%, and Nasdaq futures (US100:IND) +0.19%.
Wall Street’s major averages finished on top on Monday, with the Nasdaq Composite tagging a fresh all-time high and the S&P 500 stopping just short of its record.
The economic calendar includes the International Trade in Goods and Services report. Investors will also monitor comments from Federal Reserve Bank of New York President John Williams, Fed Governor Michelle Bowman, and Fed Kansas City President Jeffrey Schmid.
The 2-year Treasury yield (US2Y) rose 0.2 basis point to 4.83%, the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield (US10Y) fell 2.3 basis points to 5.29%, and the 30-year Treasury yield (US30Y) fell 2.1 basis points to 5.64%.
Among S&P 500 stocks, Roper Technologies (ROP) +1.55%, Expeditors International of Washington (EXPD) +1.38%, CDW (CDW) +1.37%, NetApp (NTAP) +1.33%, and Vistra (VST) +1.26%.
Incyte (INCY) -1.86%, FactSet Research Systems (FDS) -1.78%, Humana (HUM) -1.75%, Loews (L) -1.31%, and Illinois Tool Works (ITW) -1.09%.
