Oasis tease 2027 tour with drone show revealing dates and announcement

Oasis have teased a 2027 tour announcement with a huge drone display over their home city.

The Manchester band have been dropping various hints that a 2027 tour announcement was imminent over the last few days.

And now, a drone formation which appeared over the Etihad's Joie Stadium in Manchester on Thursday evening (10 September) appears to have confirmed when fans can expect the official announcement.

The formation first showed the band's logo, which was then replaced by the date 14.09.26 and the time 4pm BST [16:00].

After splitting up in 2009 following a feud between brothers Noel and Liam, the band reunited for the first time for the Live ‘25 tour last year.

Their reunion and last year's tour is now the focus of a brand new documentary titled Don't Look Back in Anger, which features unseen rehearsal footage, new interviews and live performances from the tour.

Directors Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern previously admitted to Radio Times ahead of release that they were among those fans who had all but given up hope of a reunion.

"It didn't seem likely," Lovelace said. "It didn't seem likely in those 15 years apart at all. So when we heard that they were coming back, I guess we had the same feeling that everyone in the crowd had. Well, my feeling was to get on my phone and try and get a ticket!"

He continued: "But the moment it became a possibility we could be making this film... it got very exciting."
