Victor Osimhen's latest injury update breaks fans hearts

A fresh injury update for Victor Osimhen has emerged from Galatasaray ahead of the November 2026 international break.
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been ruled out of Nigeria’s November fixtures after sustaining a knee injury during Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League clash against VfB Stuttgart.
Galatasaray confirmed that medical examinations, including an MRI scan, revealed a loose body in the 27-year-old striker’s left knee.
According to the Turkish champions, Osimhen is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on Saturday, November 7, as the club begins treatment on the injury.
The setback means the Nigerian international will also miss Galatasaray’s upcoming fixture against Amed S.F., alongside Nigeria’s November engagements.
Osimhen’s absence comes as a blow to the Super Eagles, who will have to navigate their upcoming fixtures without one of their most important attacking players.
The striker will now focus on his recovery following surgery, with his return to action dependent on his rehabilitation and medical progress.
