ORLANDO PIRATES IN SOWETO

Orlando Pirates look to maintain their unbeaten start to the Betway Premiership when they welcome Durban City to the Orlando Amstel Arena tonight.

Orlando Pirates have scored 12 goals while conceding just once in the league this season.

Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side will enter the match with confidence after progressing in the CAF Champions League. They defeated La Cure Waves 3-1 on aggregate over the weekend.

Nkosinathi Sibisi is also back in contention after returning from international duty. His presence gives Orlando Pirates another experienced option in defence.

DURBAN CITY LOOK TO CAUSE AN UPSET

Durban City have collected six points from their five league matches under Khalil Ben Youssef. The visitors have also gone four matches without defeat in the Betway Premiership.

Their recent league run has been built around a disciplined defence. Three of their last four matches have ended in draws, with the Citizens keeping games tight.

Durban City will also draw confidence from their recent continental success. They defeated Rukinzo 2-1 away from home to progress in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The two teams have already met this season. Orlando Pirates edged Durban City 2-1 after extra time in the MTN8 quarter-finals.

Jean Lwamba will provide the attacking threat for the visitors, while Gastón Sirino brings experience and creativity to the midfield.
