Sean “Diddy” Combs Placed Back in Solitary Confinement Following Report on Lavish Prison Life

Translate

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been placed back in solitary confinement at Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey following an NBC News report detailing the disgraced rap mogul’s lavish prison lifestyle.

After footage surfaced of Combs using a contraband phone, he was removed from his dormitory-style housing and placed in isolation in a special housing unit (SHU), according to NBC News and TMZ. This marks his second time in solitary confinement after he was placed there in July for a prison fight.

The initial NBC News report, published on September 29th, was based on interviews with four men who lived in the same unit as Combs. The inmates spoke about Combs’ pampered lifestyle, which allegedly included men cooking and cleaning for him, as well as making his bed and doing his laundry.

Besides using a contraband phone to scroll through Instagram and view nude photos from an ex-girlfriend, Combs reportedly had access to a mood-boosting antidepressant called Remeron, a stash of Hennessy liquor smuggled in by guards, and a tablet he used to watch movies and documentaries, including 50 Cent’s docuseries, Sean Combs: The Reckoning.

“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’ life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” a spokesperson for Combs said in response to the report. “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”

Combs arrived at Fort Dix in October 2025 after being sentenced to 50 months in prison for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
