Exclusive – Chelle Pick Ten Nigeria U23 Players In Squad For Russia Friendly

Translate

Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle picked ten players who will be part of his U23 team in the team that will play against Russia in a friendly game on the 6th of October, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Nigeria will be involved in AFCON 2027 qualifiers opening their campaign at home against Madagascar on the 25th, before travelling to keep a date with Guinea-Bissau in Morocco four days later.

Chelle will prosecute the AFCON qualifiers with his regulars, but for the Russia game he will use the opportunity to try out some players, who will be part of the team for the Los Angeles Olympic qualifiers.

Per our impeccable sources we have a list of ten players who have received official letter of invitation for the game against Russia, but won’t be a part of the team for the AFCON qualifiers.
