HYBE has appointed Juan S. Arenas as president of HYBE Global Label Services (HGLS), the company’s newly renamed division dedicated to supporting the growth of its artists in international markets, Billboard can exclusively announce Friday (Oct. 16). Formerly known as HYBE Label Services, HGLS’ new name reflects HYBE’s broader global strategy to create consistent, integrated services across its labels and strengthen long-term artist development worldwide.

“The vision is to build a global platform dedicated to building and super-serving HYBE IPs and artists,” Arenas says in a statement. “HGLS’ aim is to create a competitive edge for them and set them up for exponential growth and global expansion.”

Arenas previously served as chief IP officer of HYBE AMERICAS and chief operating officer of HYBE Latin America, where he helped redefine the company’s IP strategy and oversee the development, positioning and international expansion of key music properties across Latin and U.S. markets. Most recently named to Billboard’s Latin Power Players list, Arenas will report to HYBE CEO Jason Jaesang Lee and remain based in Los Angeles.

As part of the expanded HGLS leadership team, Nicole Csabai has been named senior vp of global distribution. Based in Nashville, she will oversee HYBE’s catalog as well as its DSP, commerce and streaming efforts, while helping shape the organization’s integrated, global-minded label services strategy.

Csabai joins HYBE from Interscope Records, where she served as senior vp of revenue through mid-2025. Previously, she was vp of revenue and sales at Big Machine Label Group, overseeing physical and digital sales strategies for Big Machine Records, The Valory Music Co. and Nash Icon Records.

Additionally, Melissa Victor-Burkhardt has been appointed HYBE’s executive vp of global artist services, a newly created role based in Los Angeles. Reporting to Arenas, she will lead HGLS’ Artist Success Unit, which is designed to strengthen project management and provide expanded support across the company’s global artist roster.

Victor-Burkhardt most recently served as senior vp and head of publicity and brand strategy at Epic Records, where she spent 11 years. Before joining Epic, she served as vp of media and artist relations at Universal Music Group for six years.
