Firm enables direct trading of tokenised US shares
Bitget Wallet has integrated Reality, a regulated tokenised asset issuance protocol, giving users access to more than 1,700 tokenised US stocks and exchange-traded funds from within the wallet.
A statement from the firm on Monday stated that the integration allows Nigerian users to trade shares including Nvidia, Tesla, Apple and Amazon without opening a foreign brokerage account, converting funds off an exchange or transferring custody of their assets to another party.
The tokenised assets, known as rTokens, are backed one-to-one by the underlying US shares held at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered, SIPC-member broker-dealer. The reserves are independently attested daily by a third-party CPA firm.
During US market hours, orders are routed to Nasdaq and NYSE liquidity rather than an isolated pool of on-chain trading activity.
According to the company, this means the prices users see reflect the underlying market.
More than 90 of the highest-volume rTokens also continue trading outside market hours, including weekends, through Bitget’s market infrastructure until the exchanges reopen. The integration is currently live on the Arbitrum and Morph networks.

Dividends on eligible rTokens are paid directly into users’ wallets in stablecoins, while stock splits and other corporate actions are reflected automatically. The tokens can also be used as collateral or incorporated into other on-chain applications.
“Most users globally have had no viable path to US equity exposure, not because of lack of demand, but because the infrastructure was either inaccessible or required giving up custody,” said COO of Bitget Wallet, Alvin Kan.
“Reality’s model is different: real shares, real liquidity, real dividends, and users keep control of their keys throughout. That combination is what makes this integration meaningful,” he added.
The integration follows Bitget’s earlier introduction of tokenised equities, ETF indexes and precious metals through Ondo Global Markets. Bitget Wallet has also onboarded Ondo and xStocks as part of its self-custodial offerings.
According to the company, the integration enables users to hold tokenised US shares alongside their existing crypto and stablecoin holdings without setting up a separate brokerage platform.
Previously, accessing the US equity markets required users to navigate an additional platform, complete separate identity verification, and use dedicated brokerage infrastructure. The integration with Reality allows users to retain their existing wallet setup and private keys while managing US shares alongside their crypto holdings.
