A Nigerian man, Goodness Sokoh, has been sentenced to 21 years’ imprisonment for multiple child sexual offences, including raping of underaged girls in the United Kingdom.

Sokoh was found guilty of three counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault by penetration, two counts of causing a child to watch a sexual act and one count of inciting a child into a sexual activity.

In a statement by Thames Valley Police, a unanimous jury at the Amersham Law Court found him guilty on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and sentenced him on Monday.

The 35-year-old, a resident of North Street, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, was given a restraining order against all victims and has been placed on the Sex Offenders Register, for life.

Between 31 October and 17 December 2025, Sokoh comm unicated with four teenage girls, via Snapchat, under the username handle ‘GWDY_SXNGS’.

He met with the girls in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire, under the pretence of giving them free vapes and cannabis.

He subsequently sexually assaulted and raped them.

“Following an investigation, Sokoh was arrested on 17 December 2025 and subsequently charged two days later,” the police report stated.

Speaking about the incident, an investigation officer from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, Natalie Palmer, said the victims demonstrated strength, courage and resilience during the probe.

“Throughout the process, the girls demonstrated incredible bravery. Despite everything they had experienced, they remained committed to helping the investigation and seeking justice,”  Palmer said.
