The action starts at 6 p.m. Eastern when Jack Hughes and the New Jersey Devils take on Moritz Seider and the Detroit Red Wings live on ESPN. The ESPN triple-header continues with Cale Makar and the Colorado Avalanche taking on Jake Oettinger and the Dallas Stars at 8:30 p.m., before finishing with the final game of the night in San Jose, with the Boston Bruins and San Jose Sharks taking the ice.
All night, a new game starts every 15 minutes and every game can be seen on ESPN or ESPN+. In addition, you can find a Frozen Frenzy whip-around show hosted by John Buccigross and Kevin Weekes on ESPN2.
With 16 games and 32 teams in action, this should be one of the most exciting days for NHL bettors, so you're in luck. Below, you can find odds and picks for every game on the NHL's busiest night.
Sean Allen and Victoria Matiash are here with bets to make for each of Frozen Frenzy's 16 games. All odds provided by DraftKings and are accurate as of publish time. All times Eastern.
New Jersey Devils at Detroit Red Wings
6 p.m., Little Caesars Arena
Spread: Devils +1.5 (-285), Red Wings -1.5 (+230)
Total: 6.5 (O +110, U -130)
Moneyline: Devils -105, Red Wings -115
Total goals Over 6.5 (+110): Jake Allen (.896 save percentage, 2.65 GAA) is confirmed for New Jersey after Nico Daws played Monday. The bigger issue is at the other end: John Gibson is sitting at .862 against a Devils team averaging 36.2 shots per game. These teams combine to allow 6.60 goals per game, a hair above the number. -- Allen
Florida Panthers at Columbus Blue Jackets
6:15 p.m., Nationwide Arena
Spread: Panthers +1.5 (-245), Blue Jackets -1.5 (+200)
Total: 6.5 (O +114, U -135)
Moneyline: Panthers +105, Blue Jackets -125
Kent Johnson Anytime Goalscorer (+290): The travelling Panthers are again expected to rely on Akira Schmid only hours after Florida's backup had to sub in for Jacob Markstrom (tightness) in Monday's 5-3 loss to Buffalo. In limited action thus far, Schmid has generously allowed seven goals on 46 shots. Skating on a top line and power play with Adam Fantilli and Matthew Knies, Johnson has two goals on 10 shots in his past three games. -- Matiash
Buffalo Sabres at Montreal Canadiens
6:30 p.m., Bell Centre
Spread: Sabres +1.5 (-192), Canadiens -1.5 (+160)
Total: 6.5 (O -105, U -115)
Moneyline: Sabres +130, Canadiens -155
Tage Thompson total shots on goal Over 3.5 (+115): Thompson managed just one shot Monday against Florida, but that followed back-to-back six-shot games, and he's still averaging 5.0 per game with four goals in his past five. The Canadiens allow 21.0 shots per game to opposing forwards, 12th-most in the NHL. Expect a bounce-back.
Canadiens team total Over 3.5 (-110): Montreal is scoring 3.00 goals per game against a Sabres team allowing 3.67, seventh-most in the league. With Colten Ellis used Monday, Buffalo will likely turn to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (.812 save percentage, 3.67 GAA) on the second night of a back-to-back, without Rasmus Dahlin in front of him. -- Allen
Washington Capitals at Carolina Hurricanes
6:45 p.m., Lenovo Center
Spread: Capitals +1.5 (-192), Hurricanes -1.5 (+160)
Total: 6.5 (O +105, U -125)
Moneyline: Capitals +136, Hurricanes -162
Taylor Hall Pointscorer (+110): The trio of Jackson Blake, Logan Stankoven and Hall is picking up where it left off after raising the Cup this past June, combining for 17 points in seven games. For the first time since opening night, all three failed to register a single goal or assist in Sunday's win over the Flyers. That doesn't happen two games in a row. The Capitals rank middle-of-the-pack with 2.80 goals-allowed to date. -- Matiash
Seattle Kraken at Philadelphia Flyers
7 p.m., Xfinity Mobile Arena
Spread: Kraken +1.5 (-245), Flyers -1.5 (+200)
Total: 5.5 (O -130, U +110)
Moneyline: Kraken +102, Flyers -122
Kraken money line (+102): Somehow, the winless Flyers (0-5-2) are home favorites. Philadelphia is scoring 1.14 goals per game while allowing 35.1 shots, and Dan Vladar (.857 save percentage, 5.08 GAA) should get the start after Joseph Woll played Sunday. The Kraken score 4.33 per game and are 2-0 as road underdogs this season.
Bobby McMann total shots on goal Over 3.0 (-115): No team allows more shots to opposing forwards than the Flyers (25.3 per game). McMann averages 3.7 and has put at least three on net in each of his past three games. -- Allen
Tampa Bay Lightning at New York Rangers
7:15 p.m., Madison Square Garden
Spread: Lightning -1.5 (+154), Rangers +1.5 (-185)
Total: 5.5 (O -135, U +114)
Moneyline: Lightning -162, Blue Jackets +136
Lightning -1.5 (+154): Since falling unrecognizably flat in their season opener against the Rangers at MSG, the Lightning have won four straight, three by at least two goals. One of the stronger teams in the East, Jon Cooper's crew isn't going to flounder at MSG for the second time in as many weeks. As well as Dylan Garand has comported himself after Igor Shesterkin suffered a season-ending leg injury - and it's only been a game and a half - the Rangers are a lesser side without one of the best in the biz between n the pipes. -- Matiash
St. Louis Blues at Ottawa Senators
7:30 p.m., Canadian Tire Centre
Spread: Blues +1.5 (-258), Senators -1.5 (+210)
Total: 5.5 (O -122, U +102)
Moneyline: Blues Even, Senators -120
Total goals Under 5.5 (+102): The Senators have gone under in all four of their games with a 5.5 total, and they're allowing a fourth-best 2.0 goals per game. St. Louis would be wise to start Joel Hofer (.930, 1.68 GAA), and its penalty kill is operating at 93.3%, fourth-best in the league. Plus money on an Under this tight is worth a look. -- Allen
Vancouver Canucks at New York Islanders
7:45 p.m., UBS Arena
Spread: Canucks +1.5 (-142), Islanders -1.5 (+120)
Total: 6.5 (O +110, U -130)
Moneyline: Canucks +180, Islanders -218
Islanders to Win with a Shutout (+700): Since beating the Flames 4-1 on Oct. 3, the Canucks have averaged 1.75 goals on 20.5 shots through four straight losses. Through four starts, Isles netminder Ilya Sorokin, who we're assuming is getting the nod at home after two full days off, already has a shutout against the Devils while falling just short of a second versus Chicago. For the number, this proposition appeals in the hope of banking on a blanking from one of the best in the goaltending biz.-- Matiash
Pittsburgh Penguins at Chicago Blackhawks
8 p.m., United Center
Spread: Penguins -1.5 (+180), Blackhawks +1.5 (-218)
Total: 6.5 (O -105, U -115)
Moneyline: Penguins -142, Blackhawks +120
Penguins -1.5 game spread (+180): The Blackhawks are 1-5-0, scoring 2.00 goals per game while allowing 4.33, third-most in the league. Opponents have scored first on them in five of six games, and Pittsburgh averages 3.67 goals per game. This gets a little riskier if Connor Bedard returns, which he is currently expected to. -- Allen
Minnesota Wild at Winnipeg Jets
8:15 p.m., Canada Life Centre
Spread: Wild +1.5 (-278), Jets -1.5 (+225)
Total: 6.5 (O +105, U -125)
Moneyline: Wild -105, Jets -115
Matt Boldy 4+ Shots on Goal (+120): One of the league's most prolific shooters, and only dipping below the four-shot threshold twice, Boldy is averaging 4.3 shots on net through six games. Meanwhile, the Jets are allowing 29.6/game, which is more than only seven other clubs in the league. Expect another active night from the Wild winger this busy Tuesday. -- Matiash
Colorado Avalanche at Dallas Stars
8:30 p.m., American Airlines Center
Spread: Avalanche -1.5 (+220), Stars +1.5 (-270)
Total: 5.5 (O -135, U +114)
Moneyline: Avalanche -115, Stars -105
Total goals Under 5.5 (+114): This is the league's highest-scoring team (5.20 goals per game) against its stingiest (1.60 against). The Stars have gone under in all three of their lined games, and Jake Oettinger is at .963 with a 0.74 GAA. Mackenzie Blackwood (.867) is confirmed for Colorado, but at plus money, we'll side with the immovable object. -- Allen
Vegas Golden Knights at Nashville Predators
8:45 p.m., Bridgestone Arena
Spread: Golden Knights -1.5 (+200), Predators +1.5 (-245)
Total: 6.5 (O +110, U -130)
Moneyline: Golden Knights -125, Predators -130
Under 5.5 Total Goals (+115): Both inactive since Oct. 8, this match's two projected starters, Adin Hill and Juuse Saros -- who have performed generally well this fall -- are indisputably well-rested. Averaging 2.60 and 2.57 goals-against/game respectively, the Predators and Golden Knights rank within the league's top third in defensive soundness altogether. While it's always possible Tuesday's tilt at Bridgestone erupts into a goal-fest, it's not lining up that way. -- Matiash
Toronto Maple Leafs at Utah Mammoth
9 p.m., Delta Center
Spread: Maple Leafs +1.5 (-180), Mammoth -1.5 (+150)
Total: 6.5 (O -108, U -112)
Moneyline: Maple Leafs +130, Mammoth -155
Total goals Over 6.5 (-108): The Leafs have gone over in their three latest games, including two at 6.5. These teams combine for 7.0 goals per game, and both power plays are humming: Utah's leads the league at 40.0%, and Toronto's is converting at 26.3%. -- Allen
Calgary Flames at Anaheim Ducks
9:45 p.m., Honda Center
Spread: Flames +1.5 (-148), Ducks -1.5 (+124)
Total: 6.5 (O +110, U -130)
Moneyline: Flames +170, Ducks -205
Ducks -1.5 (+124): Between Dustin Wolf and Devin Cooley, the Flames have surrendered 27 goals in five contests to date, while scoring only eight. Even without Cutter Gauthier -- who's questionable for this match after suffering a minor injury in Calgary over the weekend -- the Ducks are more than capable of scoring a handful while not giving up many against a team they beat 4-2 on the road on Saturday. -- Matiash
Edmonton Oilers at Los Angeles Kings
10:30 p.m., Crypto.com Arena
Spread: Oilers -1.5 (+200), Kings +1.5 (-245)
Total: 6.5 (O +114, U -135)
Moneyline: Oilers -125, Kings +105
Evan Bouchard anytime goal (+310): Bouchard has six goals in his past five games, which is absurd production from the blue line. The Kings are allowing 4.25 goals per game, fourth-most in the NHL, and their penalty kill is second-worst at 56.2%. -- Allen
Boston Bruins at San Jose Sharks
SAP Center, San Jose, California 11:00 p.m.
Spread: Bruins -1.5 (+225), Sharks +1.5 (-278)
Total: 6.5 (O +110, U -130)
Moneyline: Bruins -110, Sharks -110
David Pastrnak Anytime Goalscorer (+145): Pastrnak is firing much too often on net (23) to have just a pair of goals to show for his efforts. Look forward to the winger adding to his total against a Sharks team that concedes 3.40 goals/contest. For extra fun, toss in a Morgan Geekie assist for +175, who assisted on both of Pastrnak's power-play markers in last week's win against the Mammoth. -- Matiash
