Meghan's candles, notebook and $535 hamper: Duchess of Sussex releases second holiday drop of As Ever products - including homeware

Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand has expanded into homeware after months of speculation as she unveiled a new teapot and table mats as part of As Ever's second Christmas collection today.

The Duchess of Sussex, 45, launched her brand's $148 advent calendar earlier this month in her first commercial venture since moving back to the UK with Prince Harry and their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.

She appears to be rapidly expanding As Ever's offerings; before her new line of home accessories, she debuted three new hampers - including a £180 ($242) Parlour Basket - and playing cards.

Now, the former actress has shared further products she hopes will be a hit with customers this holiday season, such as a new 'tabletop collection' with crockery and napkins, a two-wick candle and reed diffuser.

'Chapter Two' of Meghan's holiday collection includes 'sweet treats', fragrances, the 'Trellis tabletop collection' and 'thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list,' she announced in a post on As Ever's official Instagram account.

The photo showed a pair of woven copper coasters, a blue teacup and saucer, jam cookies and Meghan's signature As Ever raspberry spread artfully arranged on a wooden table.

The products are currently only available to buy in the US, but there has been speculation that Meghan could eventually bring her £11 tins of tea and £50 scented candles to the UK in recent weeks.

The 2026 'Holiday Advent Calendar' priced at a hefty $148 - described on As Ever's website as a 'magical celebration of the season'

Meghan first teased 'Chapter Two' of As Ever's festive collection in a message to her newsletter subscribers titled 'Hosting with Heart' that was sent on Wednesday evening.

She shared that her 'secret to hosting with ease' is 'preparation' and told readers to 'take care of the little details before the doorbell rings'.

New launches include a $130 'heirloom handwoven rattan charger set' and a blue-and-white porcelain teapot, priced at $98 - or around £73.

Shoppers can get their hands on the collection's new $98 'Penny for Your Thoughts' leather notebook - branded on the As Ever website as a 'simple luxury for everyday use and enjoyment.'

A 'Signature Two-Wick Holiday Candle' - priced at a whopping $98 - is also on offer as part of the new launch. Described as a 'limited-edition scent of the holiday,' the two wick candle features nodes of pine, berry, cashmere and clove - and is recommended by the As Ever website to be purchased with Meghan's costly $410 'Candle Lover's' basket.

One of the priciest gifts on the site is the $535 'Library Basket' hamper. Coming in at just under £400, the hamper comes with a signature leatherbound notebook, coasters, card set, candle - and matchbox.

Customers can also indulge in a $75 'Trophy Chocolate Bar Gift Set' featuring five 'beloved' bars of the confectionary. The chocolates - described as 'limited edition' -  are created in collaboration with Los Angeles-based Compartés, the chocolatiers behind Meghan's pricey advent calendar.

Also on offer is Meghan's 'curated' popcorn medley, marketed at the high price of $65. The popcorns, listed as a 'luxury taste of nostalgia' on the As Ever page, come in milk chocolate, white chocolate and salted popcorn flavours - and are topped with Meghan's signature 'flower sprinkles.'

The Duchess' Christmas range hasn't been without its controversy, after a British priest faced backlash online from 'Sussex Squad' supporters when publicising a £6 charity advent calendar in contrast to the one promoted by Prince Harry's wife.

Meghan unveiled the £112 ($148) gourmet chocolate calendar in an online advert earlier this month while wearing a reported £75,000 worth of clothing and jewellery.

Anglican priest and London university chaplain the Reverend Daniel French suggested that people could instead buy the charity advent calendar that is almost 20 times cheaper and contains Fairtrade chocolate.

The alternative he recommended also raises money for a leprosy charity and comes with a 'little booklet on the meaning of Christmas', he told his followers.

Sharing an image of Meghan alongside her As Ever product, Rev French wrote: 'For £5.99 you can pre-order a Christian Advent Calendar with Fairtrade chocolate from the Meaningful Chocolate Company. A donation is made to The Leprosy Mission.'

The calendar also comes with a 24-page Christmas story and activity booklet celebrating the birth of Christ.

But Rev French's post sparked a backlash from members of the Sussex Squad, who branded him 'satan spawn' and 'evil', while claiming he had an 'ugly heart for a so-called Christian'.

His Protestant colleague Father Chris Phillips – whose parish is in Benhilton, south-west London – backed the priest on X, prompting a fresh wave of angry responses, to which he replied that he had 'encountered the Sussex Squad on here', adding: 'Wow.'

His defenders have said he has been 'terrorised' by 'deranged trolls' ever since, forcing him to lockdown his account. Trolls claimed he was a 'coward' for doing so.

Meghan's chocolate advent calendar is her first major As Ever product since she moved back to the UK

It was this X post from Rev Daniel French about a Christian alternative to Meghan's calendar that sparked a row

After 24 hours of online abuse, including threats and defamatory suggestions about his character, he was forced to lock his account and blocked a number of pro-Meghan supporters.

Both priests have been asked to comment.

Meghan unveiled As Ever's first advent calendar in collaboration with LA-based gourmet chocolate company Compartes earlier this month.

The £112 box of chocolate treats is her first major product since she, Harry and their two children moved back to the UK.

The calendar – 'inspired by her Montecito home and garden' – features a festive illustration of the £11million mansion she and Prince Harry called home for six years.

A press release declared that 'every detail was considered with care, including countdown numbers hand-painted in Meghan's own penmanship using edible gold lustre'.

The 'limited-edition' product includes 24 handcrafted chocolates and flavours include strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and orange marmalade, plus what is described as a 'special chocolate finished with Meghan's own flower sprinkles'.

Compartés' dark chocolate ganache truffle also features in the calendar, with Meghan's writing said to turn 'each day's reveal into a small, personal moment'.

The product is available to order in the US on As Ever's website, with delivery from early November.

Meghan's business described this as the 'latest chapter in an ongoing collaboration between the two brands', after the $12 (£9) As Ever x Compartés chocolate bars.

As Ever explained that the box's design was 'inspired by Meghan's Montecito home and garden', and she worked on it with Compartés creative director Jonathan Grahm.

The product is 'made to be enjoyed through December and treasured long after' and 'brings together the artistry of Compartés and the warmth that defines As Ever'.

Compartés said it was also selling three other cheaper but 'ultra-giftable advent calendars' at $120 (£91) each, including 'Enchanted Castle', 'The Nutcracker' and 'Winter Forest'.

Meghan has also entered the Christmas hamper market for the first time, launching a new 'hostess basket' with her As Ever brand alongside her advent calendar.

The Duchess' $211 'Holiday Collection' basket has a leather As Ever tag with gold lettering and comes pre-filled with peppermint and lemon-and-ginger tea caddies, a trio of spreads, flower sprinkles and Meghan's scented candles.

Other products in Meghan's 'Holiday Collection' include 'botanical confection' chocolates developed by Los Angeles brand Compartes as part of an 'ongoing collaboration' and two decks of 'parlour cards'.
