The Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has presented President Bola Tinubu with a hand-drawn portrait of him and his late mother.
Musawa disclosed this in a post on Saturday on X after paying a courtesy visit to Tinubu following his return and the national premiere of the MKO Abiola documentary.
She said the visit gave her the opportunity to present the drawing, which she made herself as a hobby.
Musawa explained that although drawing was a hobby for her, the particular portrait held special meaning because of the inspiration behind it.

She said it was inspired by the special place a mother holds in the life of a child and, more personally, by the support Tinubu showed her following the death of her own mother.
“I draw as a hobby, but this particular piece was deeply personal to me. It was inspired by the special place a mother holds in the life of a child and, more personally, by the support Mr President showed me during the difficult period following the loss of my own mother,” she said.
The minister also expressed gratitude to Tinubu for his continued support and kindness towards her.
“I am deeply grateful to Mr President for his continued support and kindness towards me,” she said.
Musawa prayed that God would continue to grant the President wisdom, strength and guidance as he leads the country.
