NBBF releases guidelines, timelines for Elective Congress

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has released the guidelines, timelines and modalities for its forthcoming elective congress scheduled to hold on 15 October in Abuja.
Chairman of the NBBF Electoral Committee, Lanre Glover, said the deadline for submitting nomination forms for election to the NBBF Board is 2 p.m. on Thursday, 8 October.
The electoral process follows the constitution of a seven-member Electoral Committee, chaired by Mr Glover, at the Extraordinary Congress held in Yola, Adamawa State.
A three-member Appeals Committee was also constituted to handle appeals arising from the electoral process.

Mr Glover said the committee was committed to ensuring transparency throughout the process.
“We are committed to having a transparent process in producing a new executive board that would hopefully drive Nigeria Basketball forward.”
Mr Glover, a trustee of the Nigeria Olympic Committee and Honorary Life President of the Nigerian Triathlon Union, said in a statement released to the media.
