Raye to Headline BST Hyde Park With Sienna Spiro Opening

Translate

Raye is set to headline BST Hyde Park in London this coming summer with special guest Sienna Spiro.

The singer — who just won the U.K.’s prestigious Mercury Prize for her latest album, “This Music May Contain Hope” — will play the festival on Saturday, July 10. Sienna Spiro is the first opener to be announced, with more to follow. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on Nov. 10.

Raye is the second headliner to be announced for the festival, which takes place over several weeks in the summer. American rockers Bon Jovi will headline the event on Thursday, June 24.

The BST Hyde Park show marks a major homecoming moment for London-born Raye, who started her career as a songwriter before releasing her acclaimed debut album, “My 21st Century Blues,” in 2023. She earned six BRIT Awards, including album of the year and songwriter of the year, as well as the Ivor Novello songwriter of the year prize and three Grammy nominations. Her second album, “This Music May Contain Hope,” arrived earlier this year and landed her a hit with single “Where Is My Husband!”

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Spiro has become a rising star with her powerful voice and wise-beyond-her-years songwriting. Her first album, “Visitor,” was the biggest debut album of the year in the U.K. and has been certified gold by the RIAA. Considered a frontrunner for the best new artist Grammy, Spiro is currently embarking on her worldwide “My House” tour before taking the stage at Hyde Park.
