勞工及福利局局長孫玉菡預計，明年下半年才能試行輸入外籍家居照顧員，初期會輸入約數百人。他又指，當局會委聘本地機構，協助確保培訓課程和考核符合香港的要求，預計培訓時數最少150小時。
