First images of Big Brother house revealed including new-look diary room chair

The first images of the new Big Brother house have been released ahead of the latest series.

The reality show – hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best – returns this Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

A new group of housemates will be moving into a new-look house for the channel’s biggest season yet, spanning eight weeks.

Before the new season kicks off – ITV has shared a series of images of the house, which includes a new-look diary room chair.

This time around the eye-shaped chair is red and features an eye in the centre surrounded by red hued balls and a red cushion.

Meanwhile, the shared spaces have pops of colours throughout too.

The living room features six green couches curved into one large formation with burgundy cushions and a gold circular table in the centre.

The room also has a red carpet and a similarly coloured cabinet under a TV – where the housemates will find out when they are up for nominations or have been sent packing by the public.

The gold dining room table is also shaped in the show’s eye logo with terracotta chairs.

Just across from that is the kitchen – which has a green colour palette with a black and white checked floor pattern and island bench with four chairs.

Meanwhile, the housemates’ bedroom has a blue, green and orange carpet, while their beds have an orange colour palette.

There is also a make-up station with stools and four small mirrors.

The shared bathroom also has a red carpet – with two levels of steps leading up to a huge bathtub.

Just next to that are gold shower cubicles – offering some privacy.

While they will be locked away from the world for weeks, the housemates have an outdoor area where they can get some fresh air, too.

A huge lounge is placed under a patio on a deck area, while there is also a grassed area and hot tub.

ITV said: “Reimagined as a house of surprises, this year’s Big Brother house will keep housemates on their toes with unexpected twists and game-changing moments around every corner.”

Big Brother premiered in the UK in 2000, airing for 11 series on Channel 4.

After it ended in 2010, the series was then acquired by Channel 5, which relaunched it in 2011 and aired the show until 2018.

The latest revival launched on ITV2 in 2023.

Throughout its run the series has been presented by Davina McCall, Brian Dowling, Emma Willis, Odudu and Best – who will also be competing on the upcoming season of Strictly Come Dancing.
