Connor Wood is coming clean about what really led to Jennifer Lawrence‘s viral comment about seeing him on 8th avenue and him paying her no mind.

The Dancing With the Stars season 35 contestant teamed up with Smoothie King to debut “Connor’s Paid Me No Mind Smoothie,” which launched Thursday, a play on the trendy moment sparked by the Oscar winner.

Wood and Lawrence’s meta exchange occurred after he admitted she was his celebrity crush in an interview with BuzzFeed Celeb, and she commented, “I saw you on 8th avenue drinking a smoothie and you paid me no mind.” The Hunger Games star’s remark stunned the comedian, leading to a number of memes and a wave of virality, so much so that Wood collaborated with Smoothie King.

“I think enough time has passed that I can break my silence about what happened on 8th avenue that day,” Wood said in a new video (watch below). “I was preoccupied that day. I was distracted. I missed my moment. I dropped the ball.”

“Not this time, OK, this time, I’m paying mind. I’m a changed man. I’ll never not pay attention again. My eyes are up. My mind is open. My body is nourished, right,” he said while holding his smoothie. Additional shots of Wood looking alert, walking around outside were shown, as a pedestrian even told him, “Oh hey, I saw you on 8th ave!”

“Connor’s Paid Me No Mind” smoothie features 26g of protein and 0g of added sugar per 20 oz. cup, made with whole strawberries and bananas plus electrolytes to support hydration.
