重建後的皇崗口岸正式開通，有市民專程乘搭跨境巴士，體驗口岸「合作查驗、一次放行」的通關新模式；有跨境巴士營辦商表示，車程較往常快5至10分鐘；有私家車司機形容過程暢順。

到口岸視察的運輸及物流局局長陳美寶說，會與旅遊業界及巴士公司保持密切溝通和協調。
