Egyptian Meteorological Authority issues late-month weather forecast and temperature outlook

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has announced its weather forecast and temperature projections across Cairo and the governorates through the end of September.

Moderate to warm, humid conditions are expected during the early morning hours, transitioning to hot and humid weather during the day across northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, and Northern Upper Egypt.

Extremely hot conditions are forecast for Southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures along the Northern Coast will range between 28C and 29C, while Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will record highs between 31C and 32C.

Northern Upper Egypt will experience warmer weather, with highs reaching 33C to 35C, while Southern Upper Egypt will see persistent severe heat, with temperatures hovering between 39C and 40C.
