Coronation Street's Lucy makes false accusation in shock Sally twist

Translate

Coronation Street has revealed more concerning behaviour from Lucy Parkinson, following the death of her mum Rachel. The teenager has been acting suspiciously while living at the Metcalfe house, with her latest accusation leaving Sally horrified.

In tonight's episode, Lucy remained unbothered after attending her mum's funeral the day before. But when Shanice Michaelis brought over a picture she had made for her incarcerated mum Lou, Lucy stalked off looking upset.

In the garden, Lucy callously denied Shanice one of her sweets, telling her to get her own. When the little girl said she didn't have any money, Lucy handed her a coin and urged her to go to the shop alone.

"It's only down the road. I bet you've done it a million times before," she said, promising not to tell Sally.

Later, Lucy kept quiet while Sally panicked when she couldn't find Shanice in the house. As the volatile teen headed upstairs, frustrated Sally grabbed her wrist and asked her if she was involved in the disappearance.

Fortunately, Brian Packham arrived with the youngster, after seeing her in the Kabin by herself. Smug Lucy signalled for Shanice to keep her mouth shut, with the latter playing along.

When Tim returned home, Lucy put on another act, sheepishly hiding a bruise on her wrist. Tim was shocked to see the injury, while Sally immediately apologised, believing she was at fault.

"I'd never hurt you on purpose. You know that," Sally assured her.

As Tim chastised his wife's uncharacteristic behaviour, devastated Sally began to question her capability as a mother and foster carer. Is Lucy simply lashing out in grief, or is something more sinister at play?

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
