Kelly Reilly reveals 'Dutton Ranch' season two filming starts in early 2027 at UK event
"Dutton Ranch" fans are getting a clearer picture of when the series might return.
The "Yellowstone" spinoff focuses on Rip (Cole Hauser) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) following the conclusion of the original saga.
It's become one of Taylor Sheridan's most successful series. Season one premiered in May 2026 and wrapped up on July 3, 2026.

Fans have been eager to know when new episodes will drop, and they're finally moving towards an answer.

"Dutton Ranch" return timeline gets updated.
Deadline reported that Kelly Reilly recently made an unexpected appearance at the Paramount UK Upfronts, and revealed filming will start in early 2027.

Production starting in 2027 means season two will likely premiere at some point in late summer 2027 or fall 2027.

Reilly also announced that the "Yellowstone" spinoff had a staggering 12.9 million viewers globally in its first week.
It goes to show that people are more than willing to respond to Sheridan's work for one simple reason:
It focuses on entertaining viewers above everything else, instead of pushing woke slop.

"Dutton Ranch" isn't the only "Yellowstone" universe project with its wheels turning. Sheridan is also making another prequel series, titled "1944."

Very little is known about the third prequel to the original neo-Western with Kevin Costner. Given the events of "1883" and "1923," it's highly-likely the main character will be a war veteran and the focus will be defending the ranch.
