Translate

Access Holdings Plc has announced the retirement of Olanrewaju Bamisebi as Executive Director, Information Technology and Digitalisation, following the expiration of his term contract.

The retirement took effect on 30 September, according to a regulatory filing by the financial holding company, signed by Sunday Ekwochi, the group company secretary on Friday.

The company said the retirement would ensure compliance with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) Corporate Governance Guidelines for Financial Holding Companies in Nigeria.

Under the guidelines, a financial holding company is permitted to have a maximum of two executive directors: the managing director/chief executive officer and one other executive director, who must be the chief financial officer, subject to the CBN’s approval.

Access Holdings said its board appreciated Mr Bamisebi’s contributions to the digital transformation and growth of the Access Group during his tenure.

“The Board expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Bamisebi for his dedicated service and contributions to the digital transformation and growth of the Access Group during his tenure and wishes him every success in his future endeavours,” the notice stated.
