MTN ADVERT

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the complete sale of its allocated seats for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.

Speaking with journalists in his office on Friday, the Director General of the Board, Ahmad Umar Labbo, disclosed that the board has formally requested additional seats allocation from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to accommodate the overwhelming demand from intending pilgrims across the state.

Labbo noted that while the registration portal for passport data capture is currently closed, the Forum of State Hajj Chairmen has appealed to NAHCON to reopen it.

He expressed optimism that the national commission will approve the request in good time to allow more intending pilgrims to complete their documentation.

The Director General concluded by commending the staff of the board for their dedication and hard work, which have driven the smooth progress of this year’s Hajj operations.
