The update, dubbed Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips, is due out on Nov. 27 from Capitol Records and it will feature five new songs from the sessions for the LP that has already spawned the singles “Rough and Twisted,” “In the Stars,” “Jealous Lover” and “Mr. Charm.”
It will feature the previously issued iTunes bonus track “Bad Luck Hideaway,” a duet between singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards that was recently made available across other digital platforms as the B-side the latest streaming single “Mr. Charm.” Also included will be “Who You Callin’ Crazy,” featuring British jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine, which will be released digitally on Friday (Oct. 16).
The other songs include “Where There’s a Will,” “Human Tide,” and “She Still Comes Around,” none of which have been previously available. All five extra songs will be available in a standalone vinyl edition, as well as in a deluxe 2CD edition and across all digital formats. The vinyl edition — which will come on heavyweight red vinyl — will feature all five Loose Lips songs on LP, alongside the original Foreign Tongues album.
Foreign Tongues was produced by Andrew Watt, who also collaborated on with the veteran group on their Grammy-winning 2023 LP Hackney Diamonds and it featured contributions from Steve Winwood, the Cure’s Robert Smith, Paul McCartney, Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Stones drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Darryl Jones.
