Translate

Foo Fighters kicked off a week-long takeover of Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night with a performance of “Window” from their latest album Your Favorite Toy.

Frontman Dave Grohl also sat for an interview with Kimmel, where he spoke about first meeting Taylor Hawkins at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas in 1995 (an event which Kimmel happened to work), his passion for smoking meat, his daughter Violet’s burgeoning music career, the inspiration of songs from Your Favorite Toy, and more.

Foo Fighters will serve as the show’s musical guests throughout the week, and Grohl let slip that the band lso plans to perform their cover of “Baker Street,” which they recently brought back to their live set for the first time in 19 years.
