“Sister Brother Manhole Cover,” directed by Milcho Manchevski, won the Tokyo Grand Prix at the 39th Tokyo International Film Festival on Wednesday.

The 10-day festival ran from Oct. 26 to Nov. 4, with screenings and events held across Tokyo’s Hibiya, Yurakucho, Marunouchi and Ginza districts. The event closed with the Japanese premiere of Yeon Sang-ho’s “Colony.”

The festival’s Competition section featured 15 films. The Tokyo Grand Prix, also known as the Governor of Tokyo Award, recognizes the section’s top film and confers an award of ¥3,000,000 (approximately $19,000).
