Manchester City have formally appealedqq the Premier Leagueqq Commission’s opinion inq the club’s disciplinary case.

The club confirmed that it lodged its comprehensive appeal at 7pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026, challenging the Commission’s opinion on several grounds.

In a statement obtained from the club’s websiteq on Friday, City said the opinion contains “clear material errors, of law, principle and fact” and described it as unsafe.
