Xabi Alonso confirms four players will miss four players against Hull City

Translate

Chelsea will be without four players for their upcoming clash with Hull City, with manager Xabi Alonso confirming that Moisés Caicedo, Marco Palestra, Jordan Henderson and Emmanuel Emegha remain unavailable.

The quartet will miss the next game as Chelsea continue to manage their fitness carefully. Alonso has made it clear that the club will take no risks with the players, particularly those who are still working their way back to full fitness.

Caicedo’s absence will be a notable blow for Chelsea, with the Ecuadorian midfielder having established himself as one of the key players in the squad. His ability to provide defensive protection and drive the team forward makes him an important part of Alonso’s plans.

Palestra, Henderson and Emegha will also remain on the sidelines, meaning Alonso will have to work with the players currently available as Chelsea prepare for Hull City.

The Blues will be hoping to secure a positive result despite the absentees, while the injured players will continue their recovery without being rushed back into action.

The Blues have struggled to find maintain balance in the midfield with the absence of Moises Caicedo in the game against Arsenal. However, the supporters will hope they can find their feet when they host Hull City.
