Orlando Pirates transfer news: Full list of 13 new signings

Orlando Pirates have announced another new signing, taking their total number of arrivals to 13 ahead of what promises to be a demanding season.

The Buccaneers have been the busiest club in the PSL transfer market, bringing in more new players than any other top-flight side as they prepare to compete across five different competitions.

Following several high-profile departures during the off-season, head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and the Pirates hierarchy have moved quickly to rebuild the squad and add depth in key positions.

Bulelani Sigomoshe is the latest player to join the Soweto giants after making the move from Milford FC. His arrival follows that of Bheki Mabuza, who was signed earlier this month.

Not all of the new arrivals have had to wait long to make an impression. Thapelo Mokobodi and Gamphani Lungu have already caught the attention of Pirates supporters with their performances and have established themselves as important members of the starting XI.

Kabelo Kgositsile – 22-year-old winger, signed from Baroka FC.

Sebastian Pedersen – 27-year-old striker, signed from Sundal.

Gamphani Lungu – 27-year-old winger, signed from Siwelele FC.

Thapelo Mokobodi – 23-year-old midfielder, signed from Stellenbosch FC.

Mthetheleli Mthiyane – 25-year-old midfielder, signed from Stellenbosch FC.

Sbangani Zulu – 24-year-old defender, signed from Richards Bay FC.

Bohlale Ngwato – 20-year-old winger, signed from Siwelele FC.

Neo Rapoo – 20-year-old left-back, signed from Siwelele FC.

Matome Mmolai – 23-year-old midfielder, signed from Leicesterford FC.

Aphiwe Baliti – 24-year-old left-back, who has remained at Siwelele FC on loan.

Mohau Nkota – 21-year-old left-back, on loan from Ettifaq.

Having won a treble last season, Orlando Pirates have their eyes on the CAF Champions League.
