JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Anton Harrison will miss the rest of the season because of a torn ACL in his right knee, league sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Harrison had arthroscopic surgery on Thursday and that's when the extent of the injury that Harrison suffered during the Jaguars' Week 5 victory over Philadelphia was revealed. The team had already placed Harrison on injured reserve on Oct. 13.
Harrison was hurt while blocking on a running play, a sweep to the right by Bhayshul Tuten. Harrison appeared to grab his right knee after disengaging from a block and went down to the ground. He was eventually taken off the field on a cart.
Harrison, the 27th overall pick in 2023, was moved from right tackle to left tackle during training camp. He ranked 39th among offensive tackles with an 83.7% pass block win rate, four spots below Jaguars right tackle Cole Van Lanen (84.4%). The Jaguars picked up Harrison's fifth-year option in April.
