Zack Snyder’s Justice League Officially Returns In $1,778 New Release

Zack Snyder's Justice League proved to be far more controversial than one would have ever likely expected. With the mixed critical reception to the earlier Snyderverse movies, the monumental flop of the first iteration of the Justice League movie, and the unprecedented move to fund Snyder's vision for a remake, the era was filled with baffling choices, incredible moments, and unexpected twists that, at the very least, made for entertaining news.

However, despite very much appearing to be over, with James Gunn's new universe taking center stage, fans are desperate for the Snyderverse to officially return. It's understandable why, as while never quite the critical darling one would have hoped for, Snyder's uncompromised vision and unique flair have always attracted dogmatic devotees willing to watch anything he produces. Fortunately, while perhaps not quite in the capacity some may have preferred, Snyder's Justice League is back with one final release.

The Synderverse has a habit of returning in one form or another, the undying adoration from fans seemingly propping up the production of new releases and merchandise in perpetuity. Indeed, there are even new Synderverse releases coming in 2027, despite the fact that the last official movie released within said universe debuted in 2021. However, his unique take on the Justice League has not quite had its second shot in the spotlight yet, at least as much as fans had perhaps hoped.

Well, that may all be about to change (so long as you have the money), as it turns out that Zack Snyder's Justice League isn't finished. In fact, a brand-new release titled Superman Knightmare is set to be released between September 2026 and November 2026. If you haven't already guessed it, the project is a brand-new Deluxe Edition statue of the Knightmare version of Superman; only this product, created by premium pop-culture product purveyor Sideshow Collectibles, is rather pricey.

The figure, which is a 1:3 scale model of Superman, is packed full of detail and shows the character posed with his arms outstretched, and one hand holding the decapitated head of Batman. It has a specially designed base that features LED lighting, as well as LED lights in Superman's eyes to signify his heat vision, and interchangeable heads, hands, and head stands. The aforementioned Batman head is exclusive to the Deluxe Edition version, which, naturally, contributes to its high cost. Here is how the statue is officially described:

The Deluxe Edition Superman Knightmare statue costs $1,778, which is rather expensive. Of course, for that price, you're getting a truly premium product that's intensely detailed and comes with all the accompanying features previously mentioned. You can pre-order it from the official Sideshow Collectibles website right now. This won't be for everyone, but for diehard collectors looking to expand their collection of Snyderverse products, this could very well be the next addition. At the very least, it is nice to see Zack Snyder's Justice League live on, even if it is in the form of exorbitantly priced models.
