Keanu Reeves is always busy. One of the most prolific and successful actors in modern Hollywood is never far from a big-screen hit. On March 19, 2027, he will star in a hotly anticipated video game adaptation sequel, as he reprises his role as Shadow in director Jeff Fowler's Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Ben Schwartz returns as Sonic alongside Reeves, as well as Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, Idris Elba as Knuckles, Kristen Bell, Nick Offerman, and Ben Kingsley.
In this fourth Sonic installment, Reeves will hope to collect as many box office rings as his 2026 animated sequel, as he reprised the role of Duke Caboom in Toy Story 5. The Matrix and John Wick star was one of the many big names involved in Pixar's latest big-budget entry in their groundbreaking franchise. Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and the rest of the series gang were back to tackle the dangers of modern technology in a franchise entry that felt like Pixar returning to form.
The film was called "a necessary response to how much the world has changed in the past three decades," in Taylor Gates' review for Collider, one of many glowing responses to Toy Story 5. The film scored a "certified fresh" 92% average score from critics and 94% from audiences on review site Rotten Tomatoes, with the latter score the second-highest in the franchise's history. Such was Toy Story 5's success that it has extended far beyond its theatrical run. At the time of writing, the film is the fourth-most-watched movie on Disney+ worldwide, a list topped by the live-action Moana movie, which arrived on the platform late last month.
