Turkey: Onuachu Set To Be Fit For Trabzonspor’s Clash With Beşiktaş

Translate

Paul Onuachu is expected to recover in time for Trabzonspor’s Turkish Super Lig clash against Beşiktaş next Monday after sustaining an injury in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League encounter against Finnish side KuPS.

The Nigerian striker opened the scoring for Trabzonspor in the third minute of the match but was forced off six minutes later due to the injury.

His early substitution raised concerns about his availability for the crucial league fixture against Beşiktaş.

However, Turkish news outlet Takagazette reports that the injury is not considered serious, with Onuachu reportedly leaving the stadium on foot after the match.

Trabzonspor are now expected to intensify efforts to ensure the forward regains full fitness ahead of Monday’s encounter.

Onuachu has scored two goals in seven Turkish Super Lig appearances for the Black Sea Storm this season.
