De Zerbi insists he’s not under pressure over Tottenham transfer spending

Tottenham coach Roberto De Zerbi insists he doesn’t feel pressure despite Spurs’ big transfer spending over the summer: ‘There are teams that spent more than us.’
De Zerbi’s Tottenham are still winless in the Premier League this season, having grabbed just one point in the opening three league games.
The Italian tactician has already said he has no regrets about Spurs’ summer signings, including Sandro Tonali, who became the most expensive Italian player ever last summer.
In a new interview released just before today’s Premier League match against Everton, De Zerbi added: “Seriously, I don’t feel pressure. I think we spent the money considering the league where we are in the Premier League.
“I believe there are many teams that spent more than Tottenham, even this season, but for me it’s not a pressure. I think the owner, the Lewis family, the board, Vinai (Venkatesham) and Johan Lange, they work it very well, very clear plan and project. Now we have to work, we have improve for sure, we have to make results, we have to play better, but pressure about the money…nothing. ”
