Almost P300,000 ‘shabu’ seized in Ilocos region operations
CALASIAO, Pangasinan — The police in the Ilocos region confiscated a total of 41.82 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated P297,976 in a series of anti-illegal drugs operations in four provinces on last Tuesday, Sept. 22
The operations were conducted in Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur, with Pangasinan accounting for the largest volume of confiscated drugs at 30.46 grams, valued at P207,128.
La Union followed with 4.64 grams worth P31,552, while Ilocos Norte police reported the seizure of 4.15 grams valued at P41,820.

Ilocos Sur accounted for the seizure of 2.57 grams with an estimated street price of P17,476.
The operations were conducted in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and police units.
