Craig Ferguson & Megyn Price Starring In Addiction Dramedy Series ‘Quitters’ For Angel

EXCLUSIVE: Craig Ferguson (The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson) and The Ranch and Rules Of Engagement star Megyn Price have been set to star in Quitters, a half-hour dramedy series whose eight-episode first season is now in production in Utah.

The series will be distributed by Angel, the distributor-producer best known for its faith-leaning content.

The synopsis reads: “After Liza (Price), an upbeat soccer mom, falls into the cycle of opioid addiction, she lands at Unplugged, an unconventional recovery center run by Nick McTavers (Ferguson), a former heavy-metal legend. To put her life back on track, Liza must learn to rely on an eclectic family of patients and counselors who help her navigate the long road of recovery.”

Producers are Eric Handler, Chase Vergari and Ibrahim Mohammed. It is being directed by Darrin “Fletch” Fletcher and Chet Thomas and produced through their FletChet Entertainment banner, which recently produced the Lionsgate title The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Quitters was written and created by Dave Parkin.

Executive producers on the series include Chet Thomas, Darrin Fletcher, Eric Handler, Chase Vergari, Ibrahim Mohammed, series writer and creator Dave Parkin, RoboCop and Starship Troopers writer Edward Neumeier, Rob Gibbs, HR Brown and Alema Harrington.

Handler brought the package together and paired it with financing from Script 2 Screen Capital. Handler most recently served as executive producer on the Walton Goggins action-comedy Mister, the Samuel L. Jackson action film The Beast, and Maserati: The Brothers, starring Anthony Hopkins and Al Pacino. Vergari and Mohammed produce and finance through Script 2 Screen Capital, whose credits include By Any Means (Paramount Pictures), starring Mark Wahlberg, and Iconoclast, which premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.

“This is a world I have wanted to explore for as long as I can remember, and Nick McTavers is a character I understand in my bones. There is real truth in this story, and a lot of heart and humor too, and that is exactly the kind of thing I want to be making,” commented How To Train Your Dragon voice star Ferguson who has previously discussed his own addiction issues in his late 20s.

“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to help tell Liza’s story. She’s funny and stubborn and heartbreakingly human, and her struggles through addiction and recovery are shared by so many people. My goal is to shed some light, hope and humor onto this issue, and remove the shame that acts as a barrier to asking for help,” added Megyn Price.

“Ten years ago, HR and Alema, who have walked the road of addiction and recovery themselves, brought us this idea. Having Craig and Megyn lead the series now is the culmination of everything we’ve worked toward,” said Darrin Fletcher.

Chet Thomas commented: “We want anyone struggling with addiction to know help is out there, and their families to understand what their loved ones are facing. We tell that story honestly but with the humor that so often keeps the people going through it alive.”

“Nobody could play Nick McTavers the way Craig Ferguson does, and Megyn is going to break your heart and make you laugh in the same scene. I go back decades with Chet, from our DreamWorks days, and with Craig too, so having them both come together on a show that inspires hope means everything,” said producer Eric Handler.

Angel’s slate of original series also includes the post-apocalyptic drama Homestead: The Series, now in its second season.

Ferguson is represented by WME, Vault Entertainment, and Gang, Tyre. Price is represented by Independent Artist Group, Leslie Allan-Rice Management, and Myman Greenspan.
